Range Club At The University of Idaho

Get to Know Us

We are the Range Club at the University of Idaho, a student chapter of Idaho SRM and the parent society. Our chapter aims to educate our members about the importance of our rangelands. We are eager to educate all who come. Currently we have members ranging from rangeland members to wildlife majors to computer science and geology! Range club is a great way to make connections and seek new opportunities.

What is Society of Rangeland Management? 

The Society for Range Management is an organization of membership that includes people from all over the world who manage, conserve, and enjoy rangelands, with shared passion and appreciation. It is composed of a board, committees, and staff for the support of science, management, and as the voice of rangeland stewardship. Their mission statement is “Providing leadership for the Stewardship of Rangelands based on sound ecological principles.” This organization is committed to the advancements, leaders, and education in sustainable rangeland management.
